Morris, an old and highly respected
resident In the person of Mrs, Thos.
Miller, relict of the late Phos. Miller,
in her 82nd year, She was bort] in
Scotland, on May 8th, 1841, and al-
ong with her sister, Margaret, (Mts.
Alex. Nichol), 'who predeceased her
24 years ago, constituted the femiiy
of Robert Thompson and Annie Glad-
stone. The ftttnily emigrated to Can-
ada, and settled on Lot 20, Con, 7.

continued to reside until her mar-
eiage, On October 21st, 1850, she Was
married 10 Thomas Millet, who pre-
deceased her 17 years ago, The offic-
iating clergyman was Rev. Mr, Young

interesting event took place at
Lloyd and Co.'s factory, at Wingha
recently, at the closing hour, who
the men gathered around their
friend, Harty Wells, who has recent-
ly joined the ranks of the benediets,
and showered biro, not with Cori fetti,
but with sawdust. When the storm
cleared, Harry was presented with a
handsome set of silverware, as a tok-
en of esteem. Two handsome chairs,
upholstered in tapestry of rich brown
shades accompanied by the following
address were given Harry and Mrs,
Wells (nee Miss Elva Mc.K.ay).
