BLYTH
Robert Earl Jameson, one of Ont-
ario's well-known lumbermen, died at
the eesidence of his daughter, Mrs,
W. F. Moser, 843 Logan avenue, on
Saturday last, after a few hottest' ill-
ness. The lees Mr. Jameson was a
native of Lytiden, On,, and had, dur-
ing his busy life as a /umber merch-
ant, operated ae Teeewater, Blyth,
Bannockbuim and other sections, He
homesteaded for some time at Bigger,
Seek., and had lived retired in Tor.
onto for the past 14 years. He is
survived by his widow, two daugh-
ters, Mrs. W. If Moser and Mrs, 3, E.
Davin, both of Toeonto, and one son,
Ernest, of Oregon, U. S. A. Six
years ago. deceased celebrated his
golden wedding. He is the last of the
Jameson breech of the Mildly.

Young People's Leagee: Th/s
week, the League met on Monday in-
stead of Tuesday night. The topie
"flio Mind a Sacred Trust," was ,pre-
sented by A. E. limesey, and proved
to be a most suggestive one. A fea-
ture of the evening was a seceltioa
from the book, "The Stewardship of
All of Life," by L. E. Lovejoy, read
by Reta Pollard. This little manual
is being used by the League at a
text book this year. At the next
meeting, Monday, March 1st, R. D.
Cameron, of Lucknow, will give his
interesting address on "World Mis-
sion Work in the United Church.'
This will be accompanied by a chart
fox the same of clearness. Mr. Cam-
eron has quite a reputation as a pub -
/lc speaker, and it is hoped the
friends wH1 avail themselves of this
opportueity of hearing hire. There
will be no admission fee, but a col -
will be taken in aid of Mis-
sions, the only charge made by the
speaker being .his railway fare.
