MAY Lose Om; RINK,-Cliuton News
Record says :-There is a rumor to the
effect that Mr. Trench, Teeswnter, who
owns and operates the ritlk, is about to
sell it to some parties in Walkerton and
have it removed to that towu. A special
meeting of the Council has been held to
endeavor to arrive at some plan by
which the rink may be left where it is.
Clinton would be sorry to lose its rink
and a serious effort should be made to
retain it. The great advance 10 the
price of materials since the rink was
built would no doubt make it profitable
to have it moved and rebuilt somewhere
else, in one a better location could be
found.
