R,ev. Wllliani Fingland has accepted
a unanimous and hearty invitation to
the pastorate of Mimico Presbyterian
Church, and will be inducted and or-
dained there on Wednesday, Oct. 27,
et 8pan, Mr, Fingland le a sort of Mr, J.
Pingland, now clerk of the Township
of Hullett, but tern a resident near Au
burn. Mimico is so close to 'Toronto
that it might almost be considered a
suburb, of the city and although Toron
to has not gr.own in that direction as
rapidly as In others, except along the
immediate lake front, more unlikely
things have happened than the absor-
ation of this place by its larger neigh-
bor. We are sure that Rev. Mr. Ping-
lancl's many friends in Huron will wish
Itini the very best of success In this,
his first ministerial charge, and the
people of Mitnico are to be congratulat-
ed on securing a young man of marked
abiiity.
