MADE A GREAT RECORD.—Wingham
Base Ball team is to he cotnplimented on
their tip-top standing this season in win-
ning the No-tliern League. There were
26 teams in the running at the start and
a number of them well seasoned nines
who played good ball la defeating
Cargill, Elora and Stratfatd teams
Wingham had ample scope to show their
superiority as they did in cerlying off
the honors, When they measured up
against the semiprofessionals they had
a harder nut to crack and were really
out classed and not to be wondered at,
A city has a decided advantage over a
town or village iu securing players of
more than ordinary calibre. We doff
our hat to Wingham team and say
"Well done:,' Brusselites followed the
games closely in the semi-finals
