The occasion was a fare- well to a member ot the class, Bet Sel- way, former assistant at the G. '1', R. Following a short address react by Fred. Wood, Mrs. Lowry presented Mr, Selway with a neat emerald tie pin. The recipient was taken completely by surprise but he assured the class of his deep appreciation of this token of esteem and goodwill. Since coming to Brus- sels last Fall, Mr, Selway has taken a keen interest in the class, and has made many warm friends. He carries away with him the good wishes, not only of theclass, but of the community in gen• seal.
