The 47th annual meeting of the Howlett l+artnero' Mutual Fire In- surance Company was held in the Township Hall, Gorrie, Friday hest. Chair was occupied by the genial President of the Company until the minutes of the last meeting and the financial statements were disposed of then by W. H. She died at the home of her daughter, Mrs, L. Peacock, Mullett township, where she was visiting. Her health had not been good foe the past 2 years and he: decease was not tut unexpect- ed event. Heal 5 trouble was the cause, She was born in Scotland, was the youngest daughter of the late Duncan anti Mrs. Campbell and spent a good share of her life 111 this locality coming when a child. Over 50 years age deceased was united in marriage to Neil dlt•Neil, who, with 5 sons (Dane, London ; Jas., 0linton ; Nsil, Belmore ; Jno., Ethel, and Colin, Walton) and 5 daughters, (Mrs, T. Bradshaw, Morris : Mrs, T. Olask, Walton ; Mrs. L. Peacock, Hallett ; Mrs, Trench, Midland Anel Mrs. W. Coolc, Clinton) survive. The funeral will be held from the home of her son- in-law, T. Clark, Walton, Friday afternoon at 1 80 o'clock. Service half hour earlier conducted by Rev, Mr, Lundy and interment will be made in Brussels cemetery.
