locality who will sympathise with
Mrs. Andrews in her bereavement.
Mr. and Mrs. Andrews lived at Bur-
lington for a number of years and had

SPLENDID ANNIVERSARY. - Last
Sunday and Monday were days long
to be remembered by Duff's Church.
Large congregations assembled Sab-
bath to hear eloquent messages from
Rev. Chaplain Dodds, of Cheltenham.
Mrs. Dodds gave 2 choice solos and
the choir sang in good style, Offering
was $450. Monday evening the enter-
tainment was held and was a feast of
good things. Stratford Ladies' Quar-
tette were tine and A1rs. Wyatt's and
Mrs. Dodds' solos excellent. Miss
Nicklin, Millbank, charmed the
audience with 1180 violin solos and
Rev. Me. Dodds related many incidents
in connection with his Chaplaincy in
the late war, Financial proceeds were

and Airs. Forbes came to Grey town-
ship 4years ago. Mrs, Forbes had
not been very robust for years from
heart ttouble and Mr. Forbes' health
was very poor for some time also and
it was doubtful which would be stun -
molted first at the closing out of life.

ties. Mrs. Forbes is survived by 2 broth-
ers, Wm, Campbell, Craik, Sask. and
Hugh, of Enderlin, North Dakota ;
and a sister, Mrs, Jas. McKay, 16th
Con, Grey. 3 brothers survive Mr.
Forbes, Andrew, in Scotland ; and
Alex. and John in England. There
were 7 sons in the family. Both Air.
and Mrs, Forbes' birthdays were on
the same day, June 25th, ar111 2 of
their children were born 0n 30ne 2411).
The old couple were highly esteemed
and their going away so 11841' together,
white sad, was nue 111' God's kind-
nesses and as they desired. The com-
munity sympathise with bereaved.

Edmonton Smith, passed away on
Tuesday last. Deceased was an old
tinter in the Edmonton district, mov-

the South Side, Deceased leaves a
widow, five sons and two daughters to
mourn his loss. The funeral was
held at Metropolitan Alethodist
church, Thnrsday afternoon, a large
number of relatives and friends being
present. A number of beautiful floral
tributes were received front friends
and relatives. Rev. A. H. Going con-
ducted the services and Wainwright.
St Jackson had charge of the funer-
al. Internment wag made at Mount
Pleasant r8mctery, Strathcona, De-
ceased and family ate well remember-
