McKELVRY- KENT. -A beautiful wed-
ding took place at Old St. Andrew's
Chorch, Toronto, last week, when Mar -
puree, daughter of John G. and Mrs.
Kent, became the bride of Dr. Alexand-
er McKelvey, son of the late Dr. Alex-
ander McKelvey and Mrs, McKelvey,
formerly of Brussels, Church was
lovely, with its decorations of palms and
yellow spring flowers. Rev. Law con.
ducted the ceremony. Mr. Tattersall
played a wedding march of his own
composition, and Miss Georgie Watts
sang during the signing of the register. i
'L'he bride wore a lovely gown of silver
lace over palest pink chiffon, with court !;
train of white- kitten's oar crepe, lined
with pink chiffon. Veil was edged with
silver lace and caught with pink rose•
buds, and carried sweetheart roses and
white orchids. She wore also adiamond
and platinum watch, a gilt from the
groom. Miss Lillian Hall, the maid of
honor, was in yellow net over silver,
with black tulle hat trimmed with
freesias and daffodils, caught with
mauve ribbons. Her other attendants,
Mrs, H. G. Kent and Miss Black, were
in mauve net over silver, with black
tulle hats, trimmed with Rowers. Tom
Case was groomsman, and the ushers
were Dr. Victor McCormack, Dr. Tom
Hanley, Harvey G. Kent and Captain
Charles tlronipton. Mrs. Kent who held
a reception after the ceremony. wan in
violet chiffon over grey satin, with
violet hat and boquet of violets and
pick roses. Mrs. McKelvey wore black
satin. Later the bride and groom left
for California, Bride wearing a navy blue
tailor-made suit. Dr. and Mrs, McRei,
vey Will live at 16o Bloor street West,
Toronto upon their return. Old friends
here extend hearty congratulations.
