increase for running expenses for
Electric Light, which involved a long
discussion, eoncludiig without any-
thing very definite, exceptiug that Mr,
Thuell stated if this were not given
ire would sea
se running the plant next
month.
In figuring up the cost of light to
village for past 15 months the former
figures for same service has been very
largely iuoteased,largely due to cost
of coal, which amount has to be borne
bythe taxpayers.
Li ht 1 l t
has been
well maintained but it g was felt by
Board that further increases now
were not within the range of pose!.
Way, even if Mr. Thuell eartied out
Iris threat.
The account should be closed up to
end of 1918 and balanced off so that
something definite could
be arrived at
without referring to 15 months back.
