On Jan- uary 1st he suffered a stroke of paraly- sis while boarding in the Queen's hotel, Brussels, and went to the hospital, where he had the care of a special nurse. Deceased was the 3rd son of the late Peter, and Anne Mc- Arthur and was born in Aegyleshire, Scotland, nearly 82 years sago. He came to Canada wilh ulembOrd of the family in 1853 and after a sojourn moved into Morris township in 1855.
