EDDIE MCKAY LICTED MtsOING ON
DEC 25 —It was just before New Year's
that Capt. Eddie McKay, R. F. C.,
the famous London aviator formerly of
Brussels. made his final flight over the
German lines. Au official message from
the Secretary of the British War Office
to J. W. McKay, of Cobalt, a brother of
the Loudou airman now reported miss-
ing on December 2S, To this statement
is appended a declaration that "This
does not necessarily mean dead or
wounded " Assurance is given that
further reports will be sent immediately
when received. Recent oases of Lon-
don airmen in the Flying Corps would
tend to show that few of those reported
nniss•ng have in the w..rds of the aviators
tben':elveo, "gone West " The case of
Lieut. Bert Perry, London Advertiser
porting editor, who was listed missing
for weeks before fivally reported a pri,-
oner of war in Germany is the latest
Hope is entertained that Capt. McKay,
like Lieut. Perry, Lieut Douglas Weld
and others from that city, who were
first reported "missing" may be safe in
some German prison camp.
