The meeting of the Young
People's society of the Brick Church

Vice -President, Robt. Seott presided
over the meeting and Lavina Mc-
Burney was at the organ. Dorothy
Pattison read the lesson and Mel,
vine took the prayer. The topic
was consisted of a chapter of Ads
ventures in Service together with' a
brief speech of introduction by
Lettle Pearce together with suitable
readings on missionary work by
Howard Walker and Ariel Johnson
In view of the bright moonlight and
the calmness of the evening the
recereatlonal period was carried on

The Literary Society, which has
been holding meetings in Powell's
achoolbouse, 61.11 Con. Turnberry
for several years has re -organized
for another season. The large at-
tendance was an evidence of the in
terest of . the coutsnunity in the
society.

the Sectional Meeting in Fordwich.
