At the September meeting of the
'Women's Institute the west branch
at Listowel sent an invitaion to the
ladies of ire Ethel Branch to visit
their Institute on the arternoin of
Oct. 20th at 2 o'cock at the home of
Mrs. Brielen the Invitation was ac-
cepted.
During the suitable weather .of

was done at the residences at Arthur
Henry, including the rebuilding of
a brick chimney, This pant of the
work was done by H. Thomas of

The death ot Thomas Mille of
Grey Twp., near Ethel, occurred
last week, the -funeral to Alt. Pleas-
ant cemetery was exceptionally
largely attended. Burial ceremon-
ials of the Orange Ooder were con-
ducted at the grave.

evening was given over to grout)

Goldie Wheeler. The games Pro-
gram has been carefully prepared
and the hearty cooperation of tbe
whole group made for a well enjoy-
ed period. Later in the evening
a campfire was lighted in a corner
of the evergreen winribreak and an
ample supply of buns' and \Yelpers
provided the materials for a hearty

I death of Mrs. James Armstrong,
iwho although being is failing
health during the last twelve years,

nine children born to the late Jahn
and Matilda Clark. On May 28th,
1879, Amelia V. Clark was united In
marriage to SennettArmstrong, a•t
Dungannon, and they began their
home 1106 in Mullet Township, near
Auburn, moving some years later
to Grey Township, retiring to Brus-
sels le 1920, wbere Mr. Arm-
strong pre -deceased Mrs. Armstrong
eight years ago.1 Both were un-
tiring in their effort to make a
happy borne for their mine children.
