Of the Huron Plowman's Association
Consists of 8 Classes as Follows
CLASS 1 -We have replaced the High Cut with a new,
practical class.
This new Green Class will use a jointer plow,any age can
plow who have neverpowed at a plowing match but the con-
testants must be residents of Huron County. There will he
eight prizes as follows -$10.00; $8.00; $6.00; $4.00;
53.00; $2.00; $1.50; 51.00
(Five Entries or no fourth prize)
CLASS 2 -Jointer Pows with skimmers in sod, no cut
allowed, Open to all except anyone winning a Prize at the
Provincial Match. They will be .barred out of this class
first $10.00 second $8.00 third 56.00 fourth 54.00
(Five entries or no third prize)
CLASS 3 -Jointer Plows with Skimmers in sod, no cut
allowed, aper only to residents of Huron County.

second $8.00 third $6.00 fourth $4.00
(Five Entries or no fourth prize)
CLASS 7 -Tractors drawing Narrow Bottom plows. You
may use as many plows as you wish. But your furrow must
not exceed 10 inches in width.
No entries taken in this class who have plowed at the
Provincial Match.
Prizes -first 515.00
second $12.00 third $10.00 fourth $8.00

CLASS 8 -Tractors drawing wide bottom plows, turning nota
less than a 12 inch furrow and you draw as many plows

SPECIALS -There will be a special prize for the oldest
plowman contesting at the Match. Prize will consist of a
pipe. There will also be given a beautiful pair of cuff
links for the youngest boy contesting.

Rules and Regulations
There will be an entrance charge for suppy teams
of $1.00 per team
Entrance charge in each class $1.00
Except in Class 5, boys in this class the entry is free
And don't forget you must finish your six rounds on
crown before going to lunch
1st -^Definition of a Jointer Plow -A Jointer plow is one with a share
measuring not less than 8 Inches and with ,a breast measuring not
leas than 61/2 inches (measure 6t/2 inches from land side of plow to
shall benot less than 9 inches in width excepting, 1n crown and
outside of bottom of rtnouldboard from directly under the Point
where top corner of mouldboard touches the beam) Furrows
finish.
2nd -in the opinion of the Judge if the work lof 'any competitor does
not reach a minimum standarda prize may bereduced or withheld.
3rd -The Association will help Competitors from a distance to
locate teams if given notice, otherwise they ;will not be Tesponsible
for teams the morning of the Plowing Match.
Rules will be strictly observed.
4th -Competition Open to Ontario.
5th -Amount of land to plow, left for .Committee to'decide.

Gth-Average depth of furrow 6 Inches, No shaping
of after 2 rounds on crown.
7th -Teams to be on ground at 9 a.M. to start plowing at 9.30 a•m•
Finish to be made at 4 p.m.
8th -Judges decision to be final.
9th -No shifting of stakes after etart Is made.
10th -Each plowman allowed one helper ,only.
1Ith-All Crowns to be finished before lunch, pill not be
12th -Finish to be made by 4 p.m., or plowing
conlsdered.
13th -Plowman to Gee 6 rounds on Crown, must be finished by
12,30 noon.
14th -Directors to be on ground at 9 a.m., wearing official badges,
15th -All general purpose plows must have plane irons, no ou!t,
either coulter of shier.
Providing the Judging is Finished the NO ONE ALLOWED TO PLOW AT THE HURON
PLOWMAN PLOWING MATCH THAT HAS JUDGED
