Hit By Electrical Storm

The first electrical rain storm of
Mks, year passed over W.inghhm
around nine o'clock Wednesday
evening laslt, leaving in it wake
flooded cellars and other minor
damages. During the Height of the
storm the belfry tower of the town
hall was struck by lightning, rip-
ping the boards, causing minor
damage to one side of 'the tower, ,
and miraculously mAstsling the bell
and fire siren.

here during the severe wind -storm
on Friday last. Roofs, were blown
off the town hall and residences' of

farmer in this vicinity suffered from
beadings being partially if not

rains following so closely it did not
give them an opportunity to repair
their buildings, and as a result in
many canes valuable crops have
been destroyed by water.
