He first came west in 1885 when he worked at Indian Head as a carpenter for one year. Late: he retrrued to Blyth, and on June 2, 1886 married Mary Elysla Hanna, of Brussels, Huron County, U.:t., who survives him. In March, 1902, lie moved to In- dian Head with nis faan;ly, taking employment in the Western Mfg.
