As His custom wf.s He went into
the synagogue on the Sabbath Dty, i
(Luke 4 ; 16,
Micah like many other Old Testa-
. spent prophets, looks down the
centuries from his time beyond the
age in which we. live and into the
Millennium, " that Kingdom age
when the Lord shall have returned
and set up His IKingdom on earth.
1 "Mountain" in Scripture symbolism
I stands for'Kingdom; and the prophet
declares that a time is Coming when
"the mountain of the house of the
Lord" shall be exalted above all
ether mountains and hills-
all other IKingdonms- 1`and
people shall flow unto it," Many
nations of the earth, then shall
agree with ctnc another to "go up
to the mountain of the Lord," that is
to Jerusalem to worship God and
to be taught ofHisways, and walk
in His paths. As they seek out God
together, and worship Him together,
they will, of course, be drawn close
together in fellowship.
David Sees Fellowship in the Mil-
lenium-Many of the Psalms of
David look forward to the Kingdom
age on earth, as does this familiar
song beginning : "I was glad when
they said unto me, Let us not go in-
to the house of the Lord," The
Kingdom nee is seen in the setting
un of "thrones of judgment, the
thrones of the house of David."
Then as now, those who go together
to the house of the Lord to worship
come close together in mutual es-
teem.
The exhortation to "prey for the
peace in Jerusalem : they shall
prosper that love thee," is partic-
ularly timely just now, when the
Arab revolt against the Jews has
broken out in Jerusalem,! Britain'e.
mandate for Palestine gives her a
great opportunity to honor God's
will and God's people.
Fellowship Through the Great
Commission -No ward ever spoken
by the Lord Jesus Christ is a more
.lirect command and method for
bringing to pass human fellowshiu
than His ,:'scat valedictory utterance
which we salt the Great Commission
He claim, all pnwcr in Heaven and
r•erth.Ily the right of that author-
ity He command-, His dieciplee to go
out and teach aII nations, evangeI-
:'.ing them • bvp telling them the
Good News of ..alvetion, and baptiz-
Ing them in the name of each Per-
son of the Trinity. Then they are
to be taught to do, all that Christ
commanded. His on presence is
pledged to those who do this, "even
Hato the end of the age." Christ-
ians who curry the Good New are
in fellowship with countless other
What is the surest way for men
-to get close together in mutual un-
derstanding, confidence, and love?
The surest way is for men to get
close to God. When people are close
to God they are close to one
another. Only those who are close
to God can be really close to one
another in any deep and lasting
way. Any and all human fellowship
that does not have God as its basis
and reason is a rope of sand. Pa-
gans and ether unbelievers may
seem, under certain circumstances,
to be close together ; but it is only
in seeming ; their unity and agree-
ment can be destroyed -by the slight
est provocation. But those who are
really one in Christ Jesus, and who
are really living and abiding in Him
have a union and unity that is un-
breakable and eternal.
All this is suggested in the lesson
title : "Fellowship Through Wor-
ship," The five lessons passages
from books of the Bible written
more than a thousand years apart
all show this,
A Bible Study Get -Together- Ezra
brought together a vast concourse
of the people of Judah in the
streets of Jerusalem for Bible
study. Indeed, they asked hien to
do it. It was a great opener Bible
class. "All the people" were brought
close together by listening to the
words of God. They stood and list-
ened as the reading went on from
morning till mid-iay. They worship-
ped God with fervent Amore:. Th6
appointed readers of the Word ex-
plainer) it to the people anti enabled
them to understand. And when the
reading was concluded the people
were told to rejoice, and .end por-
tions of meat and :kink to one an-
other. and have a time of happy
fellowship, which t tcy did. Th+•re
could be no divisions among them
while t'+.• word of Goal united them
and while they worshipped Him by
reverent Ii:tening.
More Bible glasses would mean
fewer divisions and quarrels among
people.

Christians ; all who are evangelized
and who receive the Good News in
faith are brought together in a
holy and eternal fellowship. There
is no "peace pact" in the world for
bringing men and nations together
like this.
Fellowship by the Blood of Jesus'
-Only those can have fellowship
with God who come into His pres- •
ence, thus entering into the holiest,
by the blood of Jesus", That is the
"new and livingway" which the Son
of God opened for us by offering
up His body to death on the cross.
His flesh was pierced ; the veil of
the temple was rent from top to
bottom ; and now we can enter in.
This blood -bought fellowship with
God snakes possible a blood -bought
and blood -sealed fellowship of be-
lievers one with another.
All those who have accepted this
infinite and eternal privilege are
exhorted to "consider one another
to provoke unto love and to good
works not forsaking the assembling
of ourselves together." There is
Christian fellowship at its best. It
le fellowship through the worship
of God by the acceptance of the
sited blood of His Son.
That Son of God is coming again
to this earth, as he promised. And
Po we are exhorted to he much with
one another in Christ, helping one
another in ',eery possible way, "and
so much the more, as ye see the
day approaching."

the King and Queen, who has re-
