TWO FLIERS DIE IN PLANE
CRASH NEAR MILVERTON
Farmer Discovers Piolt Victim of
Plunge is Close Friend -Cause is
Mystery.
Stratford, Dee. 12- Two fliers
were instantly killed when an aero-
plane crashed early this afternoon
on the farm of George Itowe, one
mile northeast of Milverton. Mem-
bers of the Rowe fancily saw the;
aeroplane over the house and next'
heard the noise as though it started!
bodies of the two men lay amongst
field 50 reds in front of the house.
Both aviators were dead when to
ken from the wreckage. What hap-
pened to the aeroplane is a myst
ery. The wings were not ice -coat-
ed. Rushing from the house to a
spot 75 yards away, where the
cofered that the pilot was a friend
0 mass of wreckage, Mr. Rowe dis-
I oi118 Earnest, of Mount Forest.
T' .rn"st, who has been flying all
summer, was an enthusiastic pilot
and made frequent trips to the
Rowe farm, where it is believed he
was about to land when the mach-
ine turned into its death spin.
"Death was instantaneous," Dr.
Joseph Tie, of Milverton told the
Star this agternoon. "Their machine
was bndly smashed, What happened
it is hard to say. There was the
drone of the propeller. It- attracted
the folks outside, They say the ma-
chine nosedive straight to the,
earth.
"C. S. -A. A. D," was the ident-
ification mark on the side of the
aeroplane.
Burying its nose deep into the
soft ground, the machine while re-
dueed to matehwood, did not buret
into flc:mce.

Residents of Brussels save themselves money by
buying in this town. This is how they do it. It .s a
well established fact that intensive buying enables
merchants to carry larger stocks and to purchase these
stocks in larger quantities, thereby securing them at a
