Names Left Off
Several complaints have been
heard locally that :limes . of people
eligible as voters we left off the
lists. No one can be too sure about
se 'i matters. Even r,,sidents in the
Meng over a lengthy period by no
means insures a nayee tppearing on
the liet. The names ar3 tt,ecured from
toe ttssessement rolls, but even as-
sessment rolls are not infallible.
Then, in addition, there is a big
cher.ce for typographical errors or
omission in transposing the names
from one list to anoteee. It is for
that purpose that courts of revision
of vetere lists are held. The rest is
no to the voters themselves and to
the ',arty organizers. Never an elect-
ion passes but complaints are made
and campaign workers are usually a-
lert to warn the eleccors of the ad
visab;lfty of examinating the voters'
Bata carefully to Pe that their
names are there,

and "Follies," while Erwin was
featured in the original pjoduction
of "The Show Off" during its origin-
: til run on the big street. In "Mother

1 enacted by Madge Bellamy, Louise:
frei'ner, and Barry Norton. The
rcenario is by Marion Orth, who
