A press report from Oakville, re-
fers to a young lady, a cousin to the
Editor of The Post:—Miss Margaret
Kerr, daughter of Mrs, W. E. Kerr,
Pine St., and the late Rev, W. E.
Kerr, who has been at Columbia
'University, taking a post -graduate
course, was .urr•ewrfuI in winning the
Rcekfeller Foundation Travelling
Fellowship in practical nursing. This
Fellowship entitles her to visit the
'leading health centres in Canada and
the United States, spending a week
at each centre observing methods.
After three months she will return to
British Columbia where she has ac-
cepted a position with the provincial
• board of stealth.

You Back to Old "Kid” Days.

becoming less and less frequent, has
missed a lot, hit hs will see it —
and. the whole bat of tricks — in
"Tillie's Punctured Romance," which
will be at the Grand Themte Friday

this big Christie ''pedal is only half
of the picture, -after which some odd
serprises come in the events which

Frisbee, the circus owner, the ring-
master, Tillie, the Strong Woman,
the lion tamer, the aerialists when
they get caught by the German army

one has to see to get the full kick.
A Fine Old Lady Passes Away.

in London on Friday about 5.30. De-
ecased had gone down to London 13
weeks ago on a visit, and last ween:

and they resided in the old land for
a number of years, corning to Can-
ada and settling in Grey Township
about 46 yearsi ago. About 2,0 year;e

Mr. Cook cried 16 years ago, Of c
family of 13 only 4 now survive the
mother: Mrs, T. Snider, of London;
Alfred in Detroit; Charlea in Man -
he ster, England; and William, who
has always made his homy with his
aged mother. The body wan brought
to B.ru.. els on Monday and service
w•ts held in St. John's church, of
whioh the deceased had long been
identified with. The pallbearers were
her six grandsons; Gordon, Leslie,
Percy and 'Thomas Snider, Wm.

from a distance weret Thos. and Mrs,
Snider, and family, of London; Al-
fred and Mrs, Cook, of Detroit; and
Mrs. Edward Cook, of London. The
wild kirk ended a beautiful corner late Mrs. Cook who was 96 years of
Miele. The best of good feelings was 1 age, was as entart as a woman of 66, ,
exhibited by both teams. At full 1 and always bright and had a kindly
time neither side had scored. Win- word for everybody. The family
