Holding Back Work.
The continued rains are holding up
farm work in this district, at least so
far as low lying, wet lands are coin
corned. There are some places under
water, and the crops subject to dam-
age. What plowing was left over
from last fall is in some localities
still to he done, and only the later
crops will likely be got in where this
is the case.
