The only conclusion that he would give was that spontaneous combustion caused the fire. Mr. Marshall has not yet made up his ° mind to rebuild but if he is unable to sell the farm by summer, will either remodel his large driving shed or erect a steel harp. About $2,000 in- surance was carried. The fire broke out in wet hay .Tuesday morning serious damage was averted by the quick action of removing the ]ray. Mr. Marshall remained in the barn all that night watching it. The next morning the insurance inspector, of Wroxeter, was there and after mak- ing his inspection, the insurance man was having dinner with Mr. Marshall, when the barn was discovered in flames, too late to save it.
