Rules and Regulations.
I.—All Exhibitors taking a prize of $2 or over will
be required to leave $1 in the hands of the Treasur-
er as a subscription for next year.
IL—All stock exhibited shall be the bona. fide
property of the exhibitor. All fri
produce must have
been raised on the farm or garden of the exhibitor in
1886. Cloths, Flannels and blankets must be all
wool. •
III.—Exhibitors should give the Secretary notice
of the different entries they intend to make. before
the first day of the show, if possible, and by doing so
they will greatly facilitate the labors of the Directors.
All articles to be shown in tho In -door Department
must be entered in the Hall by 10 o'clock the first
day ; and all entries in the Out -door Department
must be entered and on the ground by 12 o'clock the
second clay. Parties wishing to make entries after
that time will h.a charged 10c. extra, and positively
110 entries can be taken after 1 o'clock.
IV.—The Secretary will be found at the ticket
office at the show ground from 8 o'clock a.m. until
noon each day.
V.—All sheep must have been shorn bare since
tho 15th of April during the current year,
VI.—Exhibitors of dairy produce, grain, or roots
cannot receive both the first and second prizes for
any one description of such articles. All implements
and manufactories must bo manufactured by the ex-
hibitor.
VII.—No exhibitor shall by any means intimate
to tho Judges that ari animal or article exhibited is
his property.
VIII.—Any person showing the same animal
twice in tho same show, except for special entries, or
in any way endeavoring to impose upon the Judges
shall be deprived of any prominin whatever,
IX.—All fruit shown must have been grown by
he exhibitor.
X.—Judges and Directors shall have discretionary
power of awarding extra prizes on any articles not
mentioned in the above list; and may consider age
in judging young stock.
Y.I,—Exhibitors will not be allowed to remove art-
icles from the exhibition building until 4 o'clock p.
1n., on the second day of the show.
XII.—All parties exhibiting thorough -bred ani -
Tale must produce pedigree to the Directors on tho
day of the show, and also certify to the ago of year-
ling heifers and calves.
XIII. --Animals and articles taking prizes will be
distinguished by the judges attaching cards -1st
BRED, 2nd BLUE, and 3rd WHITE.
XIV.—A.11 members of the Society will be admit-
ted to the ground free, upon procuring tickets faom
the Secretary. Other parties to pay 25e. each,
children under 12 years, 10c.
XV.—The Hall will be open from 7 to 0 p. nI. on
the first clay of the show. Admission 10e.
