Mr, Norquay'e Hudson Bay rail-
way Committee met last work and
elected the Premier chairman. It is
said the Premier will not go so far as
the Opposition request, and guarantee
0 per cent. interest on six and a half
millions of the company's bonds.
The Local Legislature has passed
n resolution censuring Mr. Abbott, of
London, for a statement he made at
the Grand Trunk meeting reflecting
on the line of the Manitoba and Norlh-

Chief Pia -pot attended a lecture de=

April 7.—The text of the order of revocation
and a history of the order of April 8 were
laid before each member of the cabinet at
yesterday's meeting. The language of t'1e
order of revocation was approved as it
stomas. Ib is said that if auy evasion of
the order is attempted, Mr. Sparks will be
called on to resign.

Following is the fall text of the order of
revocation :—Department of the Interior,

On April 8, 1886, you issued the following
order

action in this office span all entries of the
public land, except private cash entries and
such scrip locations as aro not dependent
upon acts of settlement and cultivation, is
suspended in the following looalitiee,
All west of the first guide meridian west in
Kansas ; all west of range 17 west in Ne-
braska ; the whole of Oolorado, except laud
in the late Ute reeorvatious ; all of Dakota,
Idaho, Utah, Washington, Now 'Mexico,
Montana, Wyoming and Nevada ; and that
portion of Minnesota north of the indemnity
limits of the Northern PaoiOo railroad and
east of the indemnity limits of the St. Paul,
Minneapolfe & Manitoba railroad. In ad-
dition, final action in this office will be sus.
pended upon al timber entries under the
act of June 8,1878, also upon all eases of
desert laud entries.
