Owe DE BEAT.—The fame of D. Ewan
is spreading in all directions. His feats in
horseshoeing by which, with studied caro
he can forge any and all peculiar draped
shoes and attach them to the end of lamed
up horses logs, so that crooked, interfering
or lame bungled up plugs when shod by
him step out like 6 year olds. ThibBounds
loud but it is nevertheless a fact. The
streets surrounding his shop aro often too
small for the number of conveyances abont
him. It looks like the corner of a county
fair. Dan. is also wall up in the carriage
line. A hearse, very artistically modeled
and neatly executed, for Mr. Malcom, has
just passed from his hands, Saml. Welsh
is also having a stage coach oonstruotod by
Dan. that will undoubtedly stand the daily
jolting to perfeclion. A number of buggies,
wagons, &c. are also being made to order.
The most elaborate of tbo season left the

liverymen. It is an extension top pleasure
carriage, seated for nine persona and cost

it, in fast those who were fortunate to get a
ride in it, which was free to all Monday
evening, express themselves as feeling as
cosy as lolling on parlor ouehions, sur-
rounded with mirrors, dmso highly is the
mention of the whole finish. It will be a
source of great pleasure to our clubs in
making excursions and should the boys
feel drowsy 'they Dan snooze comfortably as
the radiating lamps will expose any danger
in the road.
