I was start- led a little, and on recovering I at once concluded this to mean a chapter and verge in the Scriptures, as it was in the usual form in which the chap. tors and verges in the Bible are mark. ed. Without waiting to dress myself I stepped to a bookoaee in an adjoining room and took a Bible to see what any such passage might bo found to express. In searching for this special number in chapter and verse I found that only Genesis, Job, Psalms, Ise lab, Jeremiah and Ezekiel contained the chapter indicated, and that none of these chapter but the one in Gene- eis contained the spedifia verse. You can imagine my surprise when I road the following plumage :--"And let' them gather all the food of those good years that comp, and lay up corn un- der the band of Pbaroah, and let them keep food in the cities." As soon au I read the passage 1 concluded it was a prophetic warning, and that the word " 7ebaroah" clearly pointed to the Dominion Government as the in- strumentality indicated. During the two days that have elapsed since ex- periencing this singular incident, it. hag pressed upon nay mind continu- ally as to what my proper course in the matter should be ; and before ris- ing from my bed this morning I de- eidod to give the matter to the public.
