John Leckie, well-known to nearly every body in this part of the country. died at her residence, Toronto, after a long and severe illness, aged 46 years. For the peat six years she has been a great sufferer and her disease was Mil that the best medical skill prov. ed unavailing. Before her decease she suffered a great dual but amidst it all there was a calmness and peace that only the Christian knows, The corpse was brought to Bruseele on the Monday afternoon train and was met at the station by a lar6e number of relatives and friends. The procession then formed and proceeded to Mel. villa church, where a short eervies was conducted by Ravels. J. Ross, 13. A., and Rev. S. Jones, The inter- ment was made in the Brussels cern. etery.
