WE are pleased to beta that Mrs.
Cormack'e visit to Ottawa, last week,

her request in releasing John from
his unjust imprisonment in Winni-

stated. From what we can learn
there has been many broad -faced,

We learn from F. U. Rogers that
the Huron Salt Association will cense
to be an institution after the close of
next month, at least that is the prob-
ability at present, It will not make
much difference to the Enterprise
works of Brussels, however, as the
excellency of the salt is becoming so
widely known that orders are con•
tlunally pouring in. 11Ir. Rogers has 1
recently opened up a trade with 1081•-
6ants in Montreal who toils handle
his dairy salt in preference to the
Liverpool salt. The block has been
worked nt some little disadvantage
this winter owing to the freezing of
the pipes carrying the brine to the
pan.
