THE BRUSSELS POST
azarizazaissimazzamiumanesIS BEING A

Both to our numerous Friends .and Customers as well as to Ourselves.
We are very much pleased to see the people taking advantage of this, our last chance in the
Village of Brussels to give them many

r' '' are , g b : h in ,a,. very ine of oods we Carry.
It is not as a matter of profit to ourselves that we are making such Slaughtering Sacrifice in Prices:
but it is to give our friends some Good Bargains before we leave, and keep them for a time from having to buy their goocls from stores that are charging two prices for everything
they sell to thein ; merchants who mislead the very customers who trust in them to do what is right with them ; merchants who advertise falsely and deceptively in order
to take advantage of their dearest and most trusted friends for their own selfish profit and purposes,
We have always considered it our duty to look to the interests of our customers while we were with
thein ; to get Goods for them at Wholesale Prices, while we could at the same time make a living profit for ourselves. This wo claim we have done to a butter tdvautage than
any other store in this County, from the fact that'we have, since we came to Brussels, yserved out to our customers

The aim of every man should be to help everyone within their reach to get along well and help each
other through life as opportunities in their various positions in life afford them, and not -to use their vocation for their own selfishness, but as one in many of the different
spheres of life to benefit one another along life's varied paths, and help to bear one another's burdens. This, we trust, we have done in our position while doing business
in this village with our many customers and friends the past seven years.
What money we have made has not been made out of our customers, as other merchants make it, by
robbing them out of as great a profit as their ability will permit them to do after buying their goods regular, but it has been made out of the wholesale houses, who have lost
through knavery, short-sightedness, slothfulness, extravagance or inexperience of trusted retail merchants.
Some people think we should write some great, loud, false advertisement and deceive the public, and
they say it matters not as we are going to leave Brussels, but we never did nor never will leave Brussels under any false advertisement fake, When we go we trust to be
satisfied with our own dealings towards our customers, that when we come back again we can look every man and woman square in the face and say we always did what was
square and upright toward them.
We might some day come back among, you to do business, but it will be when you. will have more
experience of buying goods 'from storekeepers at big prices, which you will have to do when eve aro gone, for there will not be a merchant left who can buy goods at the price
we have been buying them at, and if they cannot buy cheap they cannot sell cheap.
IT IS NOv YOUR DUTY TO PURCHASE, AND PURCHASE HEAVY, WHILE WE REMAIN..
Our time is growing short indeed, and this is your last opportunity for getting Goods Cheap for some
time to come. You should embrace this last chance for your benefit to get some Bargains, as we may
pick up and leave at any time as soon as we get a stock elsewhere and remove the balance of our stock,
thereby cutting off your opportunity of getting goods at wholesale prices.
RESPECTFULLY YOURS,
