A Goderioh correspondent says :— ‘On Thursday morning dead herring fry almost hid the water in the har- bor from view. The dead and dying fhb, millions in number, were about two and a half inches in length, and had been killed either by the storm or the contents of the draiu emptying into the harbor, most probably the latter. An easterly wind blowing duriug the morning almost cleared the harbor of the dead herring, and thus saved lower town residents from a nauseous mess of fish.' The Expositor says :—"Alex.
