piece of the Vermont marble out of which

bad cold of late and has been unable to

last Saturday afternoon between the

club, was an interesting but one aided
game, the former winning 6 goals to e.
The Seaforth players are splendid foot -

Council, Royal Tempters of Temperance,

tutal number of members is 64 now and

Onrr.—Early on Sunday morning the
spirit of Ernie Gerry took its flight. For
the past few years the deceased has been
in poor health but managed to get about
and worst a portion of the time. There
was a complication of troubles, hie
stomach, lungs, liver and latterly his
heart being effected. He was a bright,
intelligent young man and to the end
hoped to recruit Ilia wasted health.
Ernest served hie apprenticeship in Tee

capable workman. He had many friends
among the youth of both sexes who
mourn his early demise. The funeral
took place on Tuesday afteruoon, Rev. S.
Sellery conducted the service. Mr. and
Mrs. Gerry and family have the sympathy
of the entire community in their loneli-
ness and bereavement. Several ohoice
dural designs wore placed on the coffin.
Mr. Bender, of Howbeit, has bought the
farm at Mayne Corners, owned by B. S.

off two prizes at the Toronto exhibition
this year, one for colored cheese and one
