DEBATE.—Last Monday evening a de-
bate was held in connection with the
Y. P. C. A. of the Methodist church on
the topio "Resolved that the Bible should
not be used in our Public Schools." The

divided between the speakers and at the
conclusion Postmaster Farrow and T.
Fletcher spoke for a few minutes. The
decision of the audienoe was given as a
tie as to the merits of the debate. Rev.
Mr. Seltery occupied the chair. The
meeting was an interesting one through-
