A splendid spread was prepared and ample justice was done by the company. Mr. Whitley has been a resi- dent of Brussels, and teacher of the Band, for about seven years and has had satisfaction of knowing that better music cannot be produced in Huron County to- day than that given by the lerusssls Band. He is s good cornet player and also handled tho bow on the big bass in the orchestra. On Wednesday Mr. Whitley took his departure for Richmond, Vir- ginia, where he will represent a Ohioago firm in the sale of their celebrated in- struments. Mrs. Whitley and family will continue to reside in Brussels for a time. The Managing Committee of the Band has advertised for a new teacher and hope to eeodre a good man in, the near future so that no interruption will take place in their practice, THE Mitchell Advertiser of the 10th inet., says :—On Saturday of last week ' after the Mitobell Woollen Mill had closed down for the noon hour, the operatives having tweembled in the weaving department, T.
