Both parties i are said to be iu the best possible con- dition, whioh was not the ease, certainly as to the Jap, at the Hastings match. There is no doubt that this will be a mighty struggle whioh will bring out the best powers of both. Victory means a great deal to the respective parties. If the Jap loses it will an0rown him as the champion wrestler, and give him a bleak eye from whioh it will be diffio lb for him to recover. Play was started at about 7 o'clock. During the first half time the Bluevale goal was hotly besieged but no goals were scored. In second half the ball travelled from end to end oc- casionally but was kept more in centre than in first. It began to look ae if neither would score till a Bluevale man, who was "off Bide," kinked it through. Brussels protested but goal was allowed by referee. It would be well for spade - tors at gamee of this kind to remember that they cannot defeat a visiting club by such terms as "reset him," "kick him on the shins," eto., and also well for people, especially girls, to remember that if they do not respect themselves others w111 not.
