Charles Pelton, son of Gibson Pelton,
was leading a colt to water w11en ft be.

fearfully on the forehead. The brain
was found to be oozing from the wound
in a considerable quantity. The injured
young man ie a brother of R. S. Pelton,
publisher of the Atwood Bee, and a
cousin to Mrs. R. G. Wilson, of Brussels.
He is still alive but there is no hope of
his recovery.
NATIONAL ROLLER FLOUR MILL,—This
week we made a brief visit t0 the mill to
see the alterations and improvements

J. Forsyth, of Greey & Co's. works, To•

in shape. The new proprietors, W. F.

DIED.—Mrs. Fletcher, an elderly lady,
bout 88 years of age, met her death in a
