Ma. LIVINGSTON'S WILL.—At a gather. ing of the family on Tuesday mousing of last week, in the residence, Listowel, the will of the late Mr. Livingston was read by the family solicitor, J. 16. Terhune, The will is dated on the Slat day of August, 1893, and a codicil made on the 26th day of May, '04, names ae executors Jas. Livingston, Baden, brother of de- ceased, John Livingston, eldest son, and Peter Livingston, of Manitoba, nephew of deceased. It appears that each rnembsr of the firm carried an insurance polioy of fifty thousand dollars, the amountin case of death to be used for the support of the family of deceased, so as nob to nasal. sitate the drawing of money from the business, Lt addition to this policy of fifty thoueand in the New York Life, the deceased held a policy of twenty thous- and in the Canada Life. Of this insur- ance money ton thousand dollars is to go to oaoh of the six children, the remaining ten thousand, with the other ten thong and to be taken from the estate, is to be invested by the executors and the income therefrom to be paid to Mre. Livingston during lite, or while she remains his widow, for her personal use. The profits on the insurance policies, estimated to amount bo between four and five thous- and dollars, is given to the parish of East Kilbride, Scotland, where Mr. Livingston was born, for the purpose of purchasing a public park, to be known as the Peter Livingston Park. OE the balance of the estate two.thirds is to be equally divided among the three sons and one-third equally among the three daughters, the time of payment to the ahildreu to be at the disoretion of the executors, but in any event, not until they reach thirty years, but each child to receive the in. tared on hie or her share upon reaching 21 years of age. The bulk of the money will remain invested in the firm businese and ie by the will to remain so invested so long as Jae, Livingston wishes. The amount of the estate will not be known until a valuation is made by the exeou- tors, but it is supposed that the share of the dsceaaed will be somewhere in the neighborhood of five hundred thousand dollars. The estate will pay a succession tax to the Ontario Government of five per cent.
