The deceased, who was 15 years and 6 months old, was ap- parently the healthiest one of the family and bar amiable disposition and cheerful, lively nature made her a general favorite not only in the home but among all her friends and aoquaintanoee. Her illness began with a cold, followed by paralysis, which at first was in both feet and thence extended gradually upward and in five days terminated in her death. She was conscious up to a few minutes of her death, Mies Spearin was a member of Zion church choir. Her parents have the sympathy of many friends in their sad affiiotion.
