at Balmoral, a Mr. Paterson, uncle of

the Queen. On his retiring they got a

tea-pot. The walls were full of pictures
of the royal family, the last one being the

the time, and the evenings were' spent in

for Ireland, arriving at Liverpool next

their anniversary services on Sunday,
22nd inst. Rev. Mr. Ross, of Brussels,

will have their annual social on Monday
night, 23rd fust., at whish Revs. Messrs.
Pomeroy, Hall and Rose will give short
addresses. Suitable music will be furnish-

Rev. J. L. Murray, M.
dine, gave a most interesting lecture in
Melville church on Monday evening on
"What I saw in the Yellowstone Park,
thelWonderland of America." Mr. Mur-
ray's vivid deeaription of his tour through
the Park, with its hundreds of boiling
springs, its numerous geysers, its rooky
gorges and pioburesque °anyone, be lakes
and rivers, its mountains and waterfalls,

motion of Mr. Reid and Mr. Dickson a
hearty vote of thanks was tendered to
