WEnDitfe'BEDDs.-A very joyous bums' was enjoyed ab the residence of Mr. Oaldwoll, Detroit, on the evening of Deo. 4th, when bis estimable' daughter, bliss Maud and Alex. Sharp, son of James Sharp, Morris, were united in marriage, by Rev. Mr. Thompson. The bride was attended by Miss Mary Hans, and the groom by Joseph Sharp, his brother, from Toledo. Both ladies looked charming in their becoming ooatomes of pink and cream respectively. The family resi- deaoe was beautifully decorated with flowers, plants and green boughs, a lovely garland of roses and chrysanthemums,' tied with white ribbon, overhanging the bridal party during the ceremony. Many. valuable and useful' were the wedding gifts, a piano being included from the bride's parents. An elaborate spread was prepared which included the neces- saries and delioaoies inabundanoe. Dar- ing the evening an Italian orchestra* dis- coursed sweet music and vocal selections from Mrs. Caldwell and others add. ed greatly to the pleasure..
