He is en- joying cheese making. Sucoess John. The County Council last week passed a resolution of sympathy to the father, wife and family of the late Deputy Reeve Walter Oliver. Bert Hill, son of John Hill, nth con., had the misfortune to out the top off one of thefingers on his right hand while. working a machine in the tin shop at 0 rillia. Fred. Fowler, who has taught suooese. fully for a number of years in S. 8, No. 2, Grey, was oifered and has accepted the situation of teacher in hie home school, S. S. No. I, Hallett, at an increaeed sal- ary. He has resigned his position in Gray. Died.-On Friday, May 3rd, Jas. King. the only brother of William King, 8th con., Grey, passed away to his reward. Relived at Netberstreet, Wiltshire, Eng. ; was born on Sept. 24th, 1828, and was consequently in his 69th year. The canoe of his decease was a tumor in the side. _Be was only confined to bed for 'a few weeks. Deceased was a member of the Methodist church for over 50 years. His wife died about three years ago. Four ohildren survive. The funeral took plebe to Bromham cemetery on May 7th, Mr. King was never in this country. win, laamrs. M.
