Sam. is a fine young man about 6 feet 2 inches and built in proportion. Prices are low this veer. Wheat No. lhard sold at 88, 40, 47 and 50o per bushel. The almost total failure of crops in 1894 was in the Regina, Qn Annelle, Moosejaw and other districts. In Indian Head vicinity the yield was from 6 to 12 bushels per acre. Ten miles South of us was n good yield, 15 to 80 bushels per acre, We call the times very doll, but there are exceptions, and many of the old settlers who had their implements and machinery paid for be• fore the last three. years are in easy air- oumstances. Othere who are judioione in buying will pull through all right. One trouble in this country ie reckless purchasing and from many sellers.
