ago. The betiding ie fashioned alter
the latest and most approved style of
city residences and hae the impress of
workmanship by master hands both on
the exterior and interior. The mason
work was performed by Messes. Mc-
Donald & Combas. The cellar is divided
into a milk room, and n room for the
storage of fuel, and also contains a large
cistern. Another part of the caller is
intended for roots, fruit, ate. In the
oenire is a fine furnace porobeeed from
Messrs. Mallett & Jackson, of Seaforth,
whish beats every portion of the build-
ing. Tbe workmanship displayed in the
patient, dining rooms, sleeping apart-
ments, kitchen and bathroom require to
be seen to be fullyappreoiated. The
painting was dons by W. Roddick, of

Ainley, of the game plane, who vied with
eaeb other in the excellence of their
work. R. G. Wilson, of Brussels, had

for a grand concert in the Town Hall

The Chatham Banner gays of them :—
"On Monday evening the company gave a
concert under the auspioes of the I. 0. O.
I'. The audience was perfectly captivat-
ed with the program, if n to may judge
from the rounds of applause and the
numerous encores given. Mise Marguer-
ite Neville, the charming petite contralto,
appeared to decided advantage in "True
toll death." The VanBradt brothers
were really irresistible in their Hamer•
sus numbers provoking roars of laughter,
The instrumental selection composed by
Prof. VanBradt richly merited the roar-
ing encore it received. Mies Della Ryenal
added to her laurels by her appearance
on Monday night, taking many parte
which were exacting 0n the singer, both
in phrasing and range, yet alt were sup.
erbly rendered showing that slio bag her
excellent voice under perfeot control."
