person of David Kirk, who died on Sat-
urday, the 29th of September lest. For-

Tim annual Fall Fair of the Morris
Branch .Agricultural Society was held
here Tuesday and W01;180day. Theet-
tendanco was over 4,900, This year's
exhibition was one of the best and most
snoesseful ever held here by the Soolely.
Bvery departmenb wag well represented,
and wont to show what a great interest
the people of Blyth and surrounding
district stelae it in. The exhibits of grain,
roots and fruit wan exceedingly good.
The ladies' department surpassed former
year's and the art exhibit was more than
creditable. The outside department, in-
