OBIT. -0n February 28th John Holmes, sound eon of Mrs. Robert Holmes, Alex. hinder street, Brussels, fell a prey to dropsy and heart failure, aged 63 years. He went to California about 14 years ago and has resided there almost continuous- ly, excepting one year he spent in Mani. toba and Ontario. The deceased had not been in good health for several years previous to his decease. Mre. Aubery, his sister, formerly of 4th line, Morrie, was with him when he died. Her home is in Delano.
