The Township of Grey to pay 1090492-1748619 of said maintenance. The Township of Elmo, to pay 461736- 1743619 of said maintenance, and the Township of McKillop to pay 191461-1743619 of said maintonanco. All of which is respectfully submitted. I have the honor to be, Gentlemen, your Obedient Servant, JAS. A. BELL, C. E. And whereas the said Council are of opinion that the making of a proper outlet for, and otherwise improving and extending Government Drain No. 2, as described is desirable. • Be it therefore enacted by the said Municipal Council of the said Township of Grey, pursuant to Section 585, of the Municipal Act. 1. That the said report, plans and estimates be adopted and the said improve- ment to the said Government Drain No. 2, and outlet, and the works connected there- with be made and constructed in accordahee therewith. 2. That the Reeve of the said Township may borrow on the credit of the corpora- tion of the said Township of Grey, the sum of Sixteen Thousand, Two Hundred and Ten Dollars and Thirty-three Cents (310,910.33) being the funds necessary for the work, and may issue debentures of the corporation to that amount in sums of not less than 5100.00 each and payable within twenty years from the date thereof, with interest at the rate of four per centum per annum, that is to say in twenty annual payments of interest and principal combined, such debentures to be payable at the Provincial Treasury Department, Toronto, and to have attached to them coupons for the payment of interest. 3. That for the purpose of paying the sum of Fourteen Thousand, Nine Hundred and Seventy-five Dollars and Five Cents (614,975.05) being thoamoumt charged against the said lands so to be benefitted as aforesaid, other than lands and roads belonging to the Municipalities, and to cover interest thereon for twenty years ab the rate of four per cent. per annum, the following special rates, over and above other rates, shall be assessed and levied in the same 11104331101` and at the same time as taxes are levied upon the undermentioned lots and parts of lots, and the amount of the said special rates and interest assessed as aforesaid against each lot or part of lot, respectively, shall be divided into twenty equal parts, and ono such part shall be assessed and levied as aforesaid, iu each year for twenty years after the final passing of this By-law during which the said debentures have to rim :- �E :7 A O rpp '� 1�i1 V N' o a j e.� p 03 tn§ Vm... For the purpose of paying the sum of Twelve Hunched and Thirty-fivo Dol- lars and Twenty-eight Cents (61985.29) being the total amount assessed as aforesaid against the said roads of the said Municipalities and to cover interest thereon for twenty years at the rate of four per cent. per annum, a special rate of ,054' in the dollar, shall, over and above all other rates, bo levied in the same manner and at the same time as taxes are levied upon the whole rateable property in the said Township of Grey, in each year for the period of twenty years after the elate of the final passing of this By-law, during which the said debentures have to rum. TAKE 8OTIC1 that the foregoing is a By-law provisionally adopted by the Council of the Municipality of the Township of Grey, on the Twenty-fourth day of Marob, A. D. 1894. Any person having any complaint to make in respect to the As- sessment is required to give notice of snob complaint, and the cause and matter there- by, to the Clerk of the said Municipality, on or before the 22nd day of March, 1894, and snob complaint will be tried by and before a Coru•-t of Revision to be held not later than ten clays from the 22nd day of March, 1894.
