Cement Sidewalk debentures, amounting
to $8,528, drawn ab 4% interest, to ran 15
years, were sold last week to the Standard
Bank at premium of $5.00. It isexpeo-
ted that those issued next Summer will
be taken up by the town using the sink-
ing fund for the purpose, thereby giving
the ratepayers who put down walk next
year as low a rate of interest as the above
debentures are bearing. It was a very
good sale.
