peat fuel a trial, be having bought half
a ton the other day from the Ellice Peat
Fuel Co. It sarin at 98,65 per ton at the
works at Gadsbill, or about $4.50 per ton
if delivered. Peat fuel 10 Maimed to be
almost equal to coal in both its heating
properties and lasting qualities, while
with coal at $6.75 per ton, as at present,
peat is undoubtedly the cheapest fuel.

death of Mrs. Ross. Deceased had been
in ill health for some time past, and yet

dressed as usual In the afternoon she
felt worse and retired, but still no im•

the evening a sort of blindness seemed to
