The third meeting of the Wroxeter
Literary Society was held last Friday
evening in the Oddfellows' Hall. That
the Sooiety is flourishing, was evident
from the large attendance. A long and
well eel, oted program was given. Messrs.
Gibson, Garry and Gibnon, sang a parody

favoured the audience with another Belem

resident of the 4113 line of Morris passe:;
away from time, in the pereou of Obarles
Proctor, at the advanced age of 77 years
and 2 months. Mr. Proctor was widely
known throughout this seotion and took
a great interest in agricultural matters,
being Preeidcut of the Belgrave Agl. So.
aiaty for a long time. He resided on lot
7, oou. 5 for many years being one of the
pioneers and was a most worthy man.
A large family survives. The funeral
took plane on Monday afternoon, inter-
ment being made at Brandon cemetery.

posed extension of the 0. P. R. from
Guelph to Goderioh. The Southern
route would bring the road to our village.
