He was born in Kent county, England, on July 19110, 1808, and thus had reached the extreme old age of 91 years and 2 months. He was married in the old land to Katharine Kempton, who survives him. They mane to Canada and Huron in 1887, and after two years' residence in Goderioh, took up lot 40, on the 9th mon., where they remodeled for 38 years. In 1877 they retired from farming, and moved into Clinton, and have ever amen been residents.
